Commodities Trader
Wall Street Global Finance (WSGF) Group was incorporated in 2012 under the Companies laws of South Africa to conduct business activities in the provision of security and safety brands, the oil and gas industry, with specific focus on the mid-stream and downstream segments, consultancy, air charter services, and the importation of agricultural commodities, such as rice, beans and other agro-related products.
Given the abundant opportunities that exist in the marketplace, the company is positioned to establish its presence through deep industry expertise, extensive networks locally and internationally and a sound value system.
The company’s competitive position is strengthened by its management’s expertise in product importation and as a commodities trader broadly, and the proven ability to navigate local market dynamics to ensure continuous profitability for all its stakeholders with an unmatched reputation for reliability, professionalism, and transparency.
WSGF’s practical success is built on its ability to build a regionally dominant presence in the bulk commodity supply, air charter services, and supply of popular public safety and security brands with a strong global presence and network of manufacturers. It will thus redefine quality and service standards in the African market space.
Brief history - The inception
WSGF was established in 2012 to take advantage of the growing security industry in South Africa with more than 100 security companies involved in training and armed response, but far fewer in the supply of protective hardware and safety equipment. The chairman of the Company has massive experience in the supply of broader security and safety brands, with links throughout the whole Gulf region. The team brings combined experience of more than 20 years' in the supply of different commodities.
In addition the company was able to emerge as a key supplier of agricultural commodities, such as rice, beans, and other dry products, due to the gap in the local market.
